Tommaso Bianchi leaves Leeds United to join Ascoli on loan

Italian midfielder Tommaso Bianchi leaves Leeds United to join Serie B side Ascoli initially on loan with the view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Leeds United have confirmed that Tommaso Bianchi has left the club to join Serie B outfit Ascoli on loan.

The 27-year-old has moved back to his native Italy with the view of a permanent move to Ascoli in the summer.

The midfielder joined Leeds in summer 2014 and made 26 appearances in all competitions in his debut campaign for the Championship side.

However, he sustained a knee ligament damage in February last year and has not featured once for the Whites since.
