Luke Hyam in line for new Ipswich Town deal?

A report claims that Luke Hyam is likely to be offered a contract extension by Championship outfit Ipswich Town.

Ipswich Town have reportedly put plans in place to hand Luke Hyam a new contract.

The 24-year-old's current deal at Portman Road is due to expire at the end of the season.

However, having recently recovered from a knee injury that kept him sidelined for 11 months, the Tractor Boys are now prepared to extend the midfielder's terms, according to HITC Sport.

Hyam, who spent part of the ongoing season on loan with Rotherham United, has featured seven times for Ipswich this term.
