Yannick Sagbo desperate to leave injury-hit Hull City

Yannick Sagbo admits that he wants to leave Hull "as soon as possible" to find more regular football, despite currently being the Tigers' only fit recognised striker.

Yannick Sagbo has given Steve Bruce more problems in attack by admitting that he wants to leave Hull City "as soon as possible".

The Frenchman has made just two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season and is desperate to secure more regular football.

However, he is now Bruce's most senior fit centre-forward, with both Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez facing up to six weeks on the sidelines.

Sagbo remains determined to quit the KC Stadium and hopes that the Tigers will release him, but their current lack of options up front make that unlikely.

"I've told the manager I want to play and need to leave as soon as possible. I hope Hull can make it easy for me to leave by releasing me," he told reporters.

Sagbo, 26, played just four times for Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers during a six-week loan spell earlier this term, and has scored only four goals in 36 games since joining Hull in 2013.
