Nikica Jelavic, Abel Hernandez out for up to six weeks each

Hull City confirm that strikers Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez will be out for up to six weeks each through injury.

Hull City duo Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez have been ruled out for up to six weeks each through injury.

Jelavic suffered a knee problem during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion, though scans have shown that the damage is not as bad as first feared.

Meanwhile, summer signing Hernandez pulled up with an adductor muscle injury in the game at The Hawthorns.

The Tigers continue their Premier League campaign on Sunday when they face West Ham United at Upton Park.

Steven Bruce's side are currently in 18th place in the table, one point adrift of safety.
