Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has hailed "terrific" Anderson for his performance in their comeback victory over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
Goals from Jonny Evans, Darren Fletcher and Javier Hernandez saw the Red Devils win 3-1 at Old Trafford in the Premier League after Jamie Mackie had scored for the visitors in the 52nd minute.
"Anderson played his part today," Ferguson told MUTV. "He didn't let us down, he was terrific."
Ferguson also praised defender Evans for scoring the equaliser for United in the 64th minute.
"Jonny Evans is capable of doing that but it's only this season that he's emerged as a goalscoring centre-back," he said.
"We've had a few in the past - Vida (Nemanja Vidic) and Steve Bruce way back. It's nice to get a defender who can weigh in with a few goals."
United are currently at the top of the league table with 30 points from 13 matches, two points ahead of Manchester City.
