Hibernian coach Alan Stubbs has insisted that the club will not sell midfielder Scott Allan to Rangers.
It is thought that the Ibrox side have already seen two bids rejected for the 23-year-old playmaker, and Stubbs has moved to further make Hibernian's position clear regarding Allan's availability.
"I can categorically say that Scott Allan will not be going to Rangers," said Stubbs, according to the Daily Mail.
"I spoke to Mark this morning. I have a good relationship with Mark. It was me who made the phone call and I was making Mark aware of our stance. It is just respect and it was a respectful phone call.
"Our stance is very strong, we are not prepared to sell Scott Allan because he is fundamental to what we want to achieve."
Allan made 32 appearances for Hibs last season, scoring two goals.
