Thorgan Hazard hints at Borussia Monchengladbach extension

Borussia Monchengladbach loanee Thorgan Hazard hints that he would be happy to remain with the German side next season rather than return to his parent club Chelsea.

Chelsea attacker Thorgan Hazard has suggested that he would be prepared to remain with Borussia Monchengladbach beyond the end of the current campaign.

The 21-year-old, who is the younger brother of Blues talisman Eden, joined Gladbach on a season-long loan deal during the summer.

Reports had suggested that the Belgian could be a part of the senior squad at Stamford Bridge next term, but he has hinted that he would be open to the prospect of remaining in the Bundesliga.

"It's an option to stay at Gladbach longer, but it's just too early to talk about it now. The decision will be made towards the end of the season. I feel great here," he told Bild.

Hazard joined the West Londoners in 2012, but he is yet to make an appearance for the club.
