Jose Gaya signs new five-year deal at Valencia

Valencia defender Jose Goya commits his future to the Spanish club until 2020 to fend off interest from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Chelsea target Jose Gaya has dealt Jose Mourinho a huge blow ahead of the summer transfer window, after agreeing to extend his current contract at Valencia for a further five seasons.

The 19-year-old, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent weeks, has caught the eye this season by helping Los Che to fourth place in La Liga.

Gaya revealed his intention to pen new terms at the Mestalla earlier this week, and the Spanish side have now confirmed the news which will see the defender remain in place until 2020.

Mourinho is said to have made Gaya his top transfer target ahead of next season, along with prolific Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette.
