Chelsea confirm Willian signing

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Willian from Anzhi Makhachkala.

The 25-year-old agreed to join the Blues last week, but he has now put pen to paper on a five-year contract after being granted a work permit.

"I'm very happy to be here, it's been a dream of mine to come and play here," Willian told the club's official website.

"Chelsea are one of the best clubs in the world, and now I'm going to play for one of the best managers in the world, so I'm very happy and looking forward to it."

Chelsea are understood to have paid around £30m for Willian's services after beating Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool to his signature.
