Glenn Murray hopes he can "help" keep Bournemouth in Premier League

Glenn Murray tells Sports Mole that he is determined to help keep Bournemouth in the Premier League following his deadline-day arrival.

Bournemouth's new signing Glenn Murray has claimed that he aims to continue the hard work that the team have put in already to help keep them in the Premier League.

The 31-year-old signed for the Cherries on transfer deadline day last week from Crystal Palace in a reported £4m deal.

The forward is hopeful that he can add to the team ethos that got Bournemouth into the Premier League for the first time in their history.

"You're told that [it's a close-knit club] before you come, but you don't know that for yourself until you walk through the doors, but that definitely is the case [here]," Murray told Sports Mole.

"These guys have been through a lot together and hopefully I can add to that and help them stay in the Premier League."

Murray's hopes of claiming a first-team spot at the Vitality Stadium strengthened after summer signing Max Gradel was ruled out for six months with a ruptured cruciate ligament.
