Blackpool boss Paul Ince confirms collapse of Stephen Hunt deal

Blackpool manager Paul Ince confirms that the club's deal to sign free agent Stephen Hunt fell through because of the winger's high wage demands.

Blackpool manager Paul Ince has confirmed that the club will not be signing former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Stephen Hunt.

The Championship outfit were in talks to sign the 32-year-old on a free transfer, but reports emerged claiming that an agreement on personal terms failed to be reached.

"The demands he wanted were just ridiculous for someone who had only played the last 10 games at Wolves," Ince told BBC Radio Lancashire.

Hunt was released by Wolves following their fall into League One at the end of last season.
