Alan Hutton to open Blackpool talks?

A report suggests that Blackpool are plotting a loan move for Aston Villa full-back Alan Hutton.

Championship side Blackpool are reportedly keen to sign Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton on a loan basis next week.

The Scottish full-back is out of favour at Villa Park and has been made to train away from the first team by manager Paul Lambert.

He had been expected to depart the Premier League side during the summer transfer window, but no agreement was reached.

However, clubs in the Football League can start to add loan players to their squad from tomorrow morning and manager Paul Ince has identified Hutton as the ideal candidate to boost his defensive options at Bloomfield Road, according to The People.

It is believed that Blackpool would be willing to contribute £5,000 to the 28-year-old's weekly wage.
