Reports suggest that Barcelona want £17m for Spanish international striker David Villa.

Barcelona have told any potential suitors to cough up £17m if they want to land David Villa, according to reports.

The 31-year-old is believed to be keen on a move away from the Camp Nou this summer after falling down the pecking order following long-term injury.

Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester City are believed to be planning summer bids, while Serie A outfit Juventus have also been linked.

According to talkSPORT, the Catalan giants have slapped the massive price tag on him because they are unwilling to part company with the Spanish international.

Villa, whose contract expires at the end of next season, has scored six goals in his 16 league appearances.
