Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will reportedly undergo surgery on an ankle problem at the end of the season and as a result will miss England's summer international games.
The 21-year-old has had trouble with his ankle in the past as it kept him out of action for almost a year as he missed the entire 2011-12 season.
The Mirror reports that the situation is not serious but Wilshere may need to have a pin that was placed into his ankle in a previous operation removed.
As a result, the midfielder will miss Roy Hodgson's side's summer friendlies against the Republic of Ireland at the end of May and Brazil on June 1.
