Dani Carvajal looks to 'two important games'

Spain cannot afford to underestimate upcoming Euro 2016 qualification opponents Slovakia and Luxembourg, according to La Roja right-back Dani Carvajal.

Spain defender Dani Carvajal has said that La Roja cannot afford to underestimate upcoming Euro 2016 qualification opponents Slovakia and Luxembourg.

The European champions opened their qualification campaign with a 5-1 win over Macedonia, and now the Real Madrid right-back has called on his team to make it nine points from three games.

"We have to face each game knowing how important they are. We're playing for six important points away from home," Inside Spanish Football quotes Carvajal as telling reporters.

"They'll be opponents who will try to make things difficult for us and we'll really have to go for them."

Carvajal has joined up with his national team despite suffering a facial injury in his club's 5-0 win over Athletic Bilbao at the weekend.
