Roberto Martinez: Manchester City have "real attacking mindset"

Everton manager Roberto Martinez expects Manchester City to have a "real attacking mindset" in their Premier League clash at Goodison Park.

Roberto Martinez has said that he is expecting to face a Manchester City side with a "real attacking mindset" this weekend.

Everton face the league's second-highest goalscorers at Goodison Park tomorrow evening as they try to keep their hopes of reaching the Champions League alive.

The manager told the club's website: "They are strong with their defensive duties but have got a real attacking mindset in what they are trying to do. They can score goals from open play with ease and are a team with good work from deadball situations. They are a complete team in that respect.

"You don't get many teams with the quality of Man City and whoever is on the pitch always has a real focus of performing for their manager. That's down to the way the manager has got the whole team together focused on winning titles.

"They have already got the League Cup and I'm sure they are going to come to Goodison with a real focus of winning their last three games of the season."

Everton sit fifth in the table ahead of the match, four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
