Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has revealed that the club are trying to bring in a forward player before the end of the transfer window.
The club are attempting to strengthen their squad as they chase promotion to the Premier League in the second half of the season.
"I wouldn't say we're close," Jackett told BBC WM. "But we're looking hard and we've talked to several possibilities. If the right player comes up in a forward position, there may be one."
Last week, the club confirmed the signing of Benik Afobe, who scored on his debut in Wolves' 2-0 win over Blackpool last weekend.
