Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez reveals his admiration for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he would be interested in bringing Wilfried Zaha to the DW Stadium.

However, the Spaniard believes that Crystal Palace's asking price for Zaha, reported to be around £6m, is too much for the Latics to complete a deal for the 19-year-old.

Martinez said: "I think Wilfried has tremendous potential. He has grown massively over the last 12 month.

"The first time we saw him was against us in the Carling Cup a year ago, but he has come on a lot since then.

"Crystal Palace have high thoughts of him. I don't think it is going to be a realistic player for us. In these situations it has to be value for money."

Wigan were rumoured to have a £3m bid for Zaha rejected by Palace in January.
