Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna is edging ever closer to a move to West Ham United, according to reports.
The 27-year-old centre-back is rumoured to be considered surplus to requirements by Massimiliano Allegri.
The Juventus manager is willing to accept a fee of £7.1m up front with a further £1.4m in add-ons, with the Hammers readying a bid, reports Tuttosport.
However, West Ham could still face competition for his signature from Premier League rivals Everton, the newspapers adds.
Ogbonna, who has 10 caps for Italy, joined Juventus from Torino is 2013, and has made over 40 appearances for the reigning Serie A champions.
