West Ham United winger Ricardo Vaz Te has insisted that he is working hard towards cementing a regular place in manager Sam Allardyce's starting XI.
The 26-year-old, who has dropped down the rankings in the first team since dislocating his shoulder in October, was brought on after 11 minutes to replace Joe Cole in Saturday's 1-0 win over Stoke City.
"Since I have been injured I have not really had the chance to play much since I came back, but everything is in place," Vaz Te told West Ham TV. "I'm working very hard to get my place back.
"My stats are still looking good, but obviously I'm still looking to improve on them. The priority on Saturday was getting the win, so that was the main thing."
Vaz Te has made just three league starts since October.
