Watford manager Quique Flores has insisted that his side deserved their point from the goalless draw with Chelsea this evening.
The Hornets had the better of things in the first half at Vicarage Road, but were indebted to Heurelho Gomes for keeping things level after the break courtesy of a number of key saves.
Flores was "happy" with his side's performance on the whole, and reserved special praise for Gomes following his man-of-the-match display.
"It was very hard to score against Chelsea, we had to stop the offences. They are very physical also but we're happy with the performance and in the second half it was hard to stop Chelsea but I think we deserved this point," he told BBC Sport.
"We support Heurelho, he's a great leader in the dressing room and on the pitch. I think the career of Heurelho is very long, when someone plays at the high level it must mean they're a good goalkeeper.
"It's a very funny journey we're in the top half, playing with confidence."
The point takes Watford up to ninth in the Premier League table.
