Napoli interested in Sandro

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirms that the club is monitoring Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that the club is interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro.

The 25-year-old Brazilian, who joined Spurs from Internacional in 2010, is understood to be valued at around £12m by the Premier League side.

While claiming that Napoli are monitoring Sandro ahead of next season, De Laurentiis admits that he is also looking at other options.

"Sandro? He's one of our targets, but not the only one," the Italian told Repubblica.

Sandro scored one goal in 25 appearances for Tottenham during the 2013-14 campaign.
