Monaco to host Tottenham Hotspur in August

Tottenham Hotspur will travel to Monaco as part of their pre-season preparations on August 3.

A statement on Tottenham Hotspur's official website has revealed that the club will travel to Monaco as part of their pre-season preparations on August 3.

Monaco, who were promoted to Ligue 1 last season, have acquired a host of new players this summer, including Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho.

"The first team will take on AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II on Saturday, August 3 as part of our pre-season preparations," read the statement.

Spurs open their Premier League season away to Crystal Palace on August 17.
