Valencia eager to sign Dani Osvaldo this summer?

Valencia will attempt to bring Dani Osvaldo to the club this summer, according to reports.

Valencia have reportedly joined the race to sign Dani Osvaldo from Southampton this summer.

Osvaldo was a club-record signing for the Saints before the start of the season, but he soon fell out of favour after clashing with teammate Jose Fonte in a training session.

The Italian has spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Juventus, who are believed to have the option sign him for £15.6m.

However, Juventus are thought to be unwilling to meet that price after Antonio Conte failed to bring out the best in Osvaldo.

According to talkSPORT, Valencia will attempt to take advantage of the situation by tabling a bid for the striker, but they are unlikely to agree to Southampton's demands.
