Asier Illarramendi "very happy" with Real Sociedad move

Spanish midfielder Asier Illarramendi says that he is "very happy" to have re-joined Real Sociedad from Real Madrid.

Spanish midfielder Asier Illarramendi has revealed his delight after re-joining Real Sociedad from Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has returned to his former club on a six-year contract after Sociedad agreed a £12m deal with Real Madrid.

"I'm very happy everything has been completed as it is what I was looking for and what I wanted," Marca quotes Illarramendi as saying.

"I'm very happy to be back home and from now on I will work very hard with the team."

Illarramendi initially joined Real Madrid in 2013, but struggled to make his mark at the Bernabeu.
