Paris Saint-Germain's president reveals that Adel Taarabt will not be joining his club this winter.

President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in signing Queens Park Rangers attacker Adel Taarabt during the January transfer window.

Recent reports have claimed that the 23-year-old could make the switch to the French capital this coming winter, and the club are said to have been keen on his services since summer 2011.

However, Al-Khelaifi is adamant that the Moroccan international is not in his club's transfer "plans".

"Despite rumours in the press we have not made any move for the player. Right now, he is not in our plans," the president told Algerian newspaper Le Buteur.

Taarabt joined the R's on a permanent basis from Tottenham Hotspur in 2010.
