Queens Park Rangers' Adel Taarabt says that fans should be patient with the club's new overseas players.

Queens Park Rangers star Adel Taarabt has called for supporters to be patient with the club's new signings while they settle into English football.

Mark Hughes's side are rooted to the foot of the Premier League table, with recent recruits Esteban Granero, Stephane Mbia and Samba Diakite still acclimatising.

"We have a lot of players it's true, but we have foreign players who have not yet adapted to English football," Taarabt told the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle.

"For Esteban he tries to get the ball down and play it there - but it has been difficult and we need more time."

QPR are in Premier League action on Sunday when Everton visit Loftus Road.
