Nottingham Forest skipper Chris Cohen will miss the rest of the season because of a cruciate knee ligament injury suffered in Saturday's draw with league leaders Burnley.
The 26-year-old hobbled off in the final moments at the City Ground in what was his 250th start for Forest.
It was today confirmed by Forest that Cohen had sustained "cruciate knee ligament damage", which ends his 2013-14 campaign.
Despite being in the same knee as an injury which ruled him out for 11 months in 2011, this latest tweak is not a recurrence of that problem.
Forest lose their captain placed fifth in the table, eight points adrift of the leading trio of Burnley, Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers.
