Sheffield United want Davide Petrucci?

Manchester United's attacking midfielder Davide Petrucci has reportedly been made a loan target of Sheffield United.

The 22-year-old moved to Old Trafford from Roma in 2008, but he is yet to make a senior appearance for the club and has instead spent most of his time out on loan.

It is expected that Petrucci will not be in Louis van Gaal's plans for next season, which has alerted Blades manager Nigel Clough, according to FLW.

The report added that Clough is keen to secure the Italian's services for a whole year.
