Ian Holloway delighted for Wilfried Zaha

Ian Holloway is delighted that Wilfried Zaha has secured a move to Manchester United and says that he played a part in the deal.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has insisted that he is delighted for Wilfried Zaha after the winger secured a move to Manchester United.

Zaha has agreed the transfer, but will remain on loan at Palace for the remainder of the season as they look to gain promotion.

Holloway says that although he helped to push the move through, he will not receive any financial reward.

"The deal agreed between United and Palce for Wilfried Zaha is one where all three parties win," he told The Sun.

"We receive a fee for a player who came through the ranks at Selhurst Park, and we also get to keep him for the rest of the season to boost our promotion dream.

"I would like to think I played a big role in making it happen. And before the cynics start to raise an eyebrow, let me make it clear straight away that I will not be making a single penny from a transfer that was in danger of dying."

The winger himself also said that he is delighted with the transfer.
