Sir Alex Ferguson: 'Wilfried Zaha will develop at Manchester United'

Sir Alex Ferguson says that Wilfried Zaha has the "potential" to succeed at Manchester United.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted that the club will mold new signing Wilfried Zaha into a quality player at Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old is due to undergo a medical today after United agreed a fee for the England international with Crystal Palace.

"We like to sign players with potential," official journalist for the club Ben Hibbs quotes Ferguson as saying.

"We develop players and that's been proven many times. Hopefully the boy enjoys it here."

Zaha will finish the season on loan at Selhurst Park before joining up with his new teammates in July.
