Louis van Gaal: 'Manchester United can still win Premier League title'

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal insists that the Red Devils can still win the Premier League title this season.

Louis van Gaal believes that his Manchester United team can recover from their sluggish start to the season and win the Premier League title.

United lost 2-1 to Swansea City in this season's curtain raiser before going on to draw away to Sunderland and Burnley respectively.

However, with 35 games remaining, Van Gaal says that there is plenty of time left to make amends for their early-season woes.

"Yes, it's always possible because we still have to play a lot of matches," he told reporters. "We are not that far behind."

The Red Devils could be 10 points behind leaders Chelsea - who play Swansea City today - by the time they face Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford tomorrow.
