Lee Cattermole claims that Sunderland are focused on making this Sunday's fixture against Manchester United difficult for the title-chasing side.

Sunderland captain Lee Cattermole has insisted that the Black Cats will not make it easy for Manchester United when they face off on Sunday.

The Red Devils require a victory to allow any chance of winning the Premier League title, but the 24-year-old midfielder has claimed that his teammates do not want to finish the season on a low note.

"It is a long summer break and you do not want to go into it on the back of a defeat," said Cattermole.

"A win over United would give everyone in the club a big boost so that's what all the players will be aiming for. It is a huge game to be involved in."

Meanwhile, Manchester City head into their final game of the season with an eight-goal advantage, which means that a win over Queens Park Rangers would ensure the title.
