Wilfried Bony rubbishes talk of Manchester City departure

Wilfried Bony rubbishes suggestions that he could leave Manchester City by insisting that he is "happy" at the club.

Wilfried Bony has insisted that he is "happy" at Manchester City amid reports that he could be on the way out of the Etihad Stadium.

The 27-year-old vacated his role as main striker at Swansea City to join the former Premier League champions in January last year.

The forward has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team due to Sergio Aguero standing in his way.

However, when asked about a potential exit, Bony told BBC World Football: "I'm happy at the club, all this speculation is not true. I have a contract so I'm happy and I think I'm at one of the top clubs in the United Kingdom."

Bony has scored 10 goals for City so far since he joined the club.
