Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini quiet on Kevin De Bruyne talk

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini refuses to reveal whether the club is trying to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

Manuel Pellegrini has refused to confirm whether Manchester City are close to signing Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian international has been heavily linked with a big-money move to the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs recently claimed that a bid for the 24-year-old could be received by the Germans in the coming days.

When asked about the possibility of De Bruyne joining City, Pellegrini told reporters: "I don't talk about rumours. When things are finished then I will talk about them."

The Blues continue their Premier League campaign on Sunday when they face Everton at Goodison Park.
