Manchester City's George Evans extends Walsall loan

Manchester City midfielder George Evans agrees to remain on loan with League One outfit Walsall until January.

Walsall have announced that George Evans has agreed to extend his loan spell at Bescot Stadium.

The Manchester City midfielder arrived in the Midlands last month on an initial four-week deal.

However, having found the net three times in his five appearances since then, Walsall have secured the 20-year-old's services until January 9.

"It was a good opportunity for me to come here and I'm really enjoying my football. Playing week in, week out has been a great factor for me," he told the club's official website.

"The lads have welcomed me in very well and made it easy for me to settle in. We've had some really good result of late and hopefully we can keep winning games."

This evening Walsall travel to Swindon Town for a League One encounter.
