Michael Laudrup: 'Ajax showed how to beat Manchester City'

Michael Laudrup believes that Ajax have shown Swansea City the way to beat Manchester City ahead of this weekend's contest between the two sides.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has claimed that his team should follow the example set by Ajax when they face Manchester City this weekend.

The Swans travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday looking to add to City's misery following their Champions League loss to Ajax and Laudrup believes that there is much to learn from Frank de Boers's side.

"Ajax showed it is possible to get a result. They had a lot of respect — but no fear," said the Dane.

"It's always difficult to mark players who are arriving into the box. Just look at Ajax's first two goals."

Swansea are currently 10th in the Premier League.
