Former Denmark goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has backed his compatriot Michael Laudrup to achieve success managing Swansea City.
The ex-Manchester United star believes that the Welsh club do not have to worry about relegation this season despite their erratic form.
"I know from the way I know Michael that he is going to do really well. For Michael, Swansea gives him a really good introduction to English football," he told the club's official website.
"There are certain clubs who would not have been good for him. Swansea is a good fit for him.
"From what I have seen already, I'm convinced that Swansea are one of the clubs who should not be thinking about getting relegated."
Laudrup guided Swansea to three wins in their opening three games in the Premier League, before his side slumped to the trio of successive defeats.
However, they have drawn with Reading and defeated Wigan Athletic and currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table.
