Gareth Barry has been ruled out of Manchester City's Europa League tie with Sporting Lisbon tomorrow evening.
The England international, who was substituted in the 36th minute during City's 1-0 loss to Swansea City on Sunday, is suffering with illness and a back injury.
"Gareth Barry was ill yesterday. He also has a problem with his back and can't run well. He needs two or three days' rest," manager Roberto Mancini told reporters.
"On Sunday he did not play well because he has this problem and we will see how he is in the next few days."
Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott and Pablo Zabaleta are also injury doubts for the match.
