Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that striker Luis Suarez will get a warm reception from the club's supporters at Anfield this weekend.
The Uruguay international will return to the home of the Merseyside club for the first time since his 10-match ban for biting the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
Despite his attempts to force through a move away from Liverpool in the summer, Rodgers believes that the fans will show their support to the controversial player.
"I'm sure Luis will get a great ovation from the fans," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo. "He has done his talking on the field recently. During the two games he has played since he came back from his suspension he has shown how committed he is with his work-rate."
The 26-year-old netted a brace in his Premier League return in last Sunday's 3-1 win over Sunderland.
The Reds face Crystal Palace on Saturday.
