Swiss international Gokhan Inler will reportedly fight for his place at Leicester City rather than seek a loan move in January.
The player's agent had told Italian media that his client may leave to play first-team football ahead of Euro 2016.
However, according to PA, the Switzerland skipper is prepared to stay and battle for a spot in the starting XI at the Premier League side.
The 31-year-old has not played since September but it is understood that Inler appreciates manager Claudio Ranieri's position of keeping him out of a winning team.
Inler joined the Foxes from Napoli in the summer and signed a three-year contract with the East Midlands club.
