Italy boss Antonio Conte has insisted that his team will be 'fully focused' on performing at Euro 2016.
Conte's squad selection was criticised by sections of the Italian media, while the Azzurri have won just two of their last six games entering the tournament in France.
Despite the criticism surrounding the national team, Conte is certain that his team will put on a strong performance when they open their campaign against Belgium on June 13.
"We must pay very little attention to whatever comes from outside. We're focused and thinking about work, about improving on our principles and our ideas. We have to be focused, honest with ourselves and try to go as far as possible," Conte told reporters.
"We have to get our head down and pedal, paying no attention to who is around us, but concentrating on catching whoever is ahead of us. My squad? There's nothing to clarify. I chose 23 players who have my trust, I know what they can do."
Conte will leave his post with Italy to take charge of Chelsea following this summer's tournament.
