Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has insisted that there will be no complacency following the club's away victory at Bristol City.
The Blues began their Championship campaign with a 3-0 win at Ashton Gate courtesy of two goals from summer signing Michael Chopra and one from winger Lee Martin.
"It was a good start but we don't want to get carried away as there is a long arduous season ahead of us," Jewell told the club's official website.
"It was good to keep a clean sheet and I'm pleased with the effort of everyone since we've come back but we know we've got a long way to go yet."
Next up for Town is a home League Cup tie against Northampton on Tuesday, August 9.
