Former Hull City manager Nick Barmby has claimed that he will seek legal advice after losing his appeal for unfair dismissal.
Barmby was sacked by the Championship club earlier this month following comments that he had made in the media about the board's transfer policy.
Owner and chairman Assem Allam backed the decision to dismiss the 42-year-old on Thursday.
"I was surprised that the club did not appoint an independent person to hear the appeal and I am now considering the outcome in detail and will consult with the LMA's legal team before deciding on any further action," Barmby said in a statement released through the LMA.
The former England international took over at Hull in November after an eight-year playing career with the Tigers.
