Notts County sign left-back Rhys Sharpe

Former Derby County left-back Rhys Sharpe signs a two-year contract with Notts County.

Notts County have completed the signing of Rhys Sharpe ahead of their campaign in League Two.

The 20-year-old, who had been available for a short period of time following his release by Championship side Derby County, has agreed a two-year contract at Meadow Lane.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 international never made a senior outing for the Rams, although he did gain some experience while on loan at Shrewsbury Town last season.

Sharpe, who plays as a left-back, is the second player to have joined County in recent days following the arrival of Scot Bennett from Exeter City.
