Derby County midfielder John Eustace has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
The 35-year-old, who has scored one goal in 14 appearances for the promotion-chasing Rams this term, recently went under the knife for a second time following an initial operation back in January.
"We are looking at a rehab period of probably 12 weeks," Derby first-team coach Paul Simpson is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We do not expect John to be available again this season, unfortunately."
Derby continue their bid to reach the Premier League on Tuesday when they host Blackpool.
