Report: Napoli to move for John Obi Mikel

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is reportedly preparing a move for Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.

The Nigerian played under Benitez at Stamford Bridge last season, but it is understood that he is not part of Jose Mourinho's plans for the new campaign.

According to Sport Mediaset, that has attracted the attention of the Italian outfit, who finished second in Serie A last season.

It is understood that the 26-year-old could join on loan before completing a permanent transfer at the end of next season.
