Claudio Ranieri excited for Chelsea return with title-winners Leicester City

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is excited to return to Chelsea as a Premier League winner but insists that he does not view the match as a chance to exact some revenge.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has said that he is looking forward to returning to Chelsea as a Premier League champion on the final day of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur's 2-2 draw at Chelsea last night confirmed Leicester, who started the season at odds of 5,000-1, as top-flight champions for the first time in their history, and next to visit Stamford Bridge are Ranieri's Foxes.

Ranieri managed Chelsea between 2000 and 2004 but he does not view his return on May 15 as a chance to exact some revenge for losing his job in West London.

"It is good because last time I left the Premier League [in 2004] I went through my players and they made the guard of honour. It was amazing," PA quotes Ranieri as saying.

"Now I will come back in the same way. It is unbelievable. I am satisfied, of course, but not in terms of 'it is revenge'. No, no, no. I am not a man who wants revenge.

"I know my job very well and sometimes maybe the owner wants to change you because you don't fit in with him."

Chelsea were champions this time last year but are 29 points behind the Foxes this time around.
