Roberto Di Matteo 'doesn't doubt professionalism' at Chelsea

Roberto Di Matteo insists that he has no reason to doubt Chelsea's professionalism.

Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has said that he has no reason to doubt the professionalism of his side.

The Blues, who have won seven of their nine games under the Italian, won a total of two games in the nine prior to that under previous boss Andre Villas-Boas. However, Di Matteo attributes the turnaround to confidence.

"I don't see a reason to doubt their professionalism," he said.

"The self-respect was here before. Andre Villas-Boas is a fantastic manager and I don't think there was respect missing but with wins we get confidence.

"We are in a good moment. We have had good results and this group has got together to find them but we need more."

Chesea are in sixth place in the Premier League as Wigan make the trip to Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
