Chelsea can edge nearer to fourth spot with a win over Premier League survival hopefuls Wigan Athletic.

Chelsea can push for fourth place with a victory over Wigan Athletic at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Roberto Di Matteo is unlikely to be able to call on captain John Terry after the centre-back suffered a rib injury during the Blues' 2-1 win over Benfica in the Champions League quarter-final last night.

Gary Cahill is expected to partner David Luiz in defence, with Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel occupying the midfield.

Fernando Torres is also likely to keep his starting spot following the Spaniard's goal in Chelsea's 4-2 win over Aston Villa last weekend.

Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez is expected to wait on the fitness of Hugo Rodallega, who is trying to overcome a knee injury, while Mohamed Diame is likely to be absent for the fixture.
